The passion for furnishing is in our DNA. Our story, in fact, has its roots in the experience of a small bed frame factory started in the 1970s by the grandfather of the current owner, Vincenzo.
In 1989, the first physical ABITARE store was established in San Vito dei Normanni, a company that from the beginning involved the Ruggiero/Russo family in the care of furnishing for the first local customers.
In 2000, the company moved to the historic factory building and created the current three-story showroom.
Meanwhile, the desire to expand its horizons grew to the point that in 2010 the company inaugurated its online store, reaching the 2.0 market and a range of customers worldwide.
Thanks to our 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, we are a reliable brand that delivers on its promises, guaranteed by TrustPilot (hundreds of reviews from satisfied customers across Italy that have helped us achieve the "Exceptional" rating). As further confirmation of our quality level, in 2011 we were finalists for the "ICT Innovation Award," a prestigious recognition promoted by the Smau Observatory - School of Management, and in 2008 Vincenzo Russo, general manager of ABITAREarreda, was appointed as a board member of the national group of Young Entrepreneurs of Federmobili.
